The body, nut, and sleeve come assembled, so you don't have to remove the nut to install the tubing. Use in air, water, and oil applications. Compression fittings form a seal around tubing OD. Fittings are forged or bar stock yellow brass. All have acetal sleeves and a built-in brass tube support, except for 1/8" and 3/16" OD fittings, which have a brass sleeve and no tube support. The support slips inside tubing to prevent collapsing. Pipe connections are NPTF (Dryseal); NPTF is compatible with NPT. Nut/tube end threads are UNF straight screw thread. Acetal sleeves resist UV light and are recommended for use with PVC, polyethylene, and polypropylene tubing. Color is black. |
Brass sleeves are for use with copper, aluminum, and nylon tubing. |
